On January 11th, Mercedez Benz hosted The 2014 Art of Elysium which took place at the Skirball Cultural Center. This was the 7th annual event to focus on children who are dealing with serious medical conditions. This organization was created in 1997 and ultimately gives support to celebrities who desire to give their time and support to these children of need. Through classes designed to infiltrate acting, art, comedy, fashion, music, radio, songwriting, as well as creative writing; children are able to fully express themselves. The word E.ly'.si.um is defined as "a place or condition of ideal happiness" and this organization has given children a way to feel 'Elysium'.
The mastermind behind this year's event was Linda Perry while Steven Tyler and Evan Rachel Wood performed to the theme of 'Heaven is Resonance'. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were the biggest contributors because of their dedication and time spent with the children of Art of Elysium.
