It's true. Not ALL of the beautiful women that we've featured in Genlux have been witty, articulate or interesting.
So it's a breath of fresh air to feature ones who are not only gorgeous but have something to say. Even better, those who spend a good amount of time giving back through their philanthropic efforts. Should I name of few of the keepers? Okay, well, over the last few years, we've had the chance to photograph Carla Sands, Cheryl Saban, Cornelia Guest, Kathy Hilton, Lisa Vanderpump, and today, we're at the beautiful home of Donna Antebi, one of LA's queens of philanthropy. Tracey Morris is photographing her wearing Donna Karan, Valentino and other great fashion styled by celeb stylist Angel Terrazas.
Donna is one of the brightest, business-minded women I've ever met. She's super analytical and has a proclivity for breaking down and solving personal and business challenges. She's part of many tech and start-ups and is well versed on a wide range of topics—and to such a depth—she'll make your head spin. For example, I got a lesson on hemp and all of its positive attributes—even tasted hemp seeds for the first time. (No, Mom, not the THC variety!) They taste kind of like sunflower seeds but with a more granular texture. Did you know hemp is refined into products like oil, wax, resin, rope, cloth, pulp, paper and fuel? Donna could write a book on the subject. She also spun me like a mixer on other interesting topics like Donald Sterling, the missing Malaysian jet, and the Sultan of Brunei and his new law to make homosexuality punishable by death—by public stoning. Lots of fuel for debate.
Donna let us know she found her dream home. No, not the behemoth one that we're currently sitting in. She has her eyes set on a grander one. (Because who could possibly be satisfied living on a hundred acre property atop Bel-Air that has a driveway a third of a mile. : ) Oh, that Donna.
Donna has her eyes set on a new home in Bel-Air so has placed her sprawling estate on the market for $25 million. I found these shots of the home on Zillow.
