For me, Genlux is the ultimate alchemist's toolbox. One minute I can be inspired by nature, or art, or fashion, or a film, or a model, or an actress, or a photo, or a book, or a landscape, or even a rock, or an old coiled-up piece of rope, and the next, I can put together a fashion photo shoot based on what inspires me. Today I was inspired by all of the New York Fashion Week makeup looks. So many brilliant looks came into my email box, like this one from Dick Page, the artistic director of Shiseido Cosmetics. I immediately texted my friend Uzo to see if she wanted to do a beauty shoot for our upcoming issue showcasing the latest beauty looks. Uzo is the lead international makeup artist for NARS. She, just as immediately, texted me, 'SURE!' So, let the alchemy begin. Next, we'll pick a face. A photographer. A stylist. A hair stylist. A manicurist. More alchemy.
Here's the formula for the look above created by Shiseido Artistic Director Dick Page
